Question 3 - What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Questionnaire Feedback

In class, we showed our different trailers to the rest of the class to gain feedback, here are my peers answers to the questionnaire I had prepared: 

• Do you understand our narrative?
  Yes - 8 1. 
• "I think so. Although there is definitely some intrigue and enigma as I'm not sure what happens between the characters." 2. "The narrative is easily understood"

• What is your favourite thing about our trailer?
  1. "It has an unsettling feeling created by the style of music and filmed footage. It is a little bit creepy and makes you feel as though you are unnerved." 2. "I liked all the different close up shots to see facial expressions/ emotions." 3. "I love the many shots and montages of different things e.g. Jennifer's face, the posters, the clock ticking - how every shot is different" 4. "Diary entry shots" 5. "I like the music and the faced paced editing." 5. "The music and how it builds tension" 6. "Where the music gets faster and shots go with the music." 7. "The music fits it well." 8. "The title at the end was really good, I liked how it changed colour." 
• What do you suggest we should improve upon?
  1. "Some of the editing in time to the beat of the music towards the end." 2. "Nothing." 3. "I'm not sure that it's made clear in the trailer or hinted that it's possibly the girls own fault that she has gone missing." 4. "Re-film shot "where is she" seems a bit fake because of the laugh/ smirk". 5. "Perhaps improve the inter titles to help with the narrative." 6. "Nothing, everything words really well." 7. "Fade the music." 8. "Adding more shots of them being together as a couple." 8. "More inter-titles." 
• Could you tell what genre we were trying to achieve?

• Would you say that our soundtrack suited well?
  Yes - 9 
• "It built up and the beat fitted in with the fast-paced editing." "Yes, fast paced and suits the narrative"

• Would you say the font and colour of our inter titles suited well? 
  Yes - 8 1."They were clear and bold." 2. "I really liked the colours of the film logo." 3. "It went really well together." 4. "Looked really good." 5. "But maybe a bit grey."
